Athletic Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities:
An
athletic trainer is a certified health care professional who practices in the
field of sports medicine. They
specialize in preventing injuries and help patients recover from chronic
diseases. They also improve cardiovascular functions, body composition and
flexibility.
Salary:
In May 2012 the median annual wage
for athletic trainer was $42,090.
Education:
Athletic trainers need at
least a Bachelor’s degree. In most states an athletic train needs to be
certified. Requirements vary by state.
